Phase one is a single player adventure survival game where you play as a clone that has been sent down to an unexplored planet to prepare for it to be colonised by humanity. Over the course of hundreds of years you must uncover what your new home planet has to offer, build up and manage a sustainable habitat, fight the unknown and inevitably die as your new clones are born and the world evolves around you.

This is a student project developed at AIE by 5 students and a music producer over the course 9 weeks

(3 weeks pre-production and 6 weeks production)

Team:

A core game play theme is "Death to Progress". The gameplay takes place over thousands of real world years, the player must discover, gather and build in order to survive. But death is inevitable if they want to progress, so they must make sure that they can sustain themselves while a new clone is grown. Fast forward many years and new clone will be born into a changed world.
